Aiga has helped thousands of high school student athletes continue their education
Perelini (“Lini”) grew up in Gardena California with sister Deborah Helen Sianiu Koria – Liu and parents Tanielu and Charlene Koria. As a young student athlete at San Pedro High School, Perelini possessed the faith, hard work, and dedication in softball that would open doors for future athletic and academic success.
While at San Pedro, Lini won 3 CIF LA City Championship Titles, was a 2-time CIF LACS Player of the year, a 3-time Marine League MVP, and 2-time Cal-Hi Sports All State honors. Her overall team record was 118-10 as she posted a .468 Lifetime Batting Average, 178 Hits, 45 Career Home Runs, 176 RBIs, 29 Doubles, 14 Triples, and a .993 fielding percentage. Perlini’s athletic and academic accomplishments earned her multiple Division 1 Scholarship opportunities in which she chose the University of Arizona.
The 2012 University of Arizona graduate received her Major in Psychology and Minor in Sociology. She was a 4 Year Lettermen for the Softball team and started in 235 out of 237 games played. From 2009-2012, Perelini made All-Pac 12 Conference Honorable Mention three times and 2ndTeam Honors one time. Lini’s teams made a 2009 appearance in the Women’s College World Series (WCWS) and finished 2ndRunner Up in the 2010 WCWS. She finished her collegiate playing career with 61 total home runs, placing her at 5thin the University’s all-time home run record.
Immediately following her playing career and graduation from the University of Arizona, Lini began to serve young student athletes through Softball. She started her career coaching at California Lutheran University as an Assistant Coach for 2 years, then went on to the high school level as a Head Coach at Eastlake High School (Chula Vista, CA) where she improved their overall record from 13-14 (2014-2015) to 17-10 (2015-2016). For the 2016-2017 season, Lini joined the staff at Emory University as an Assistant Coach and helped the Eagles to a 25-13 overall record. Following the 2017 Season, she split her time working at D-BAT Perimeter & West Cobb as the Director of Softball and earning her Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University. Additionally, Lini was inducted into the 2019 San Pedro High School Athletic Hall of Fame. In 2020 She accepted the Head Varsity Softball Coach opportunity with The Lovett School (Atlanta, Georgia) and within one season, her team earned high state recognition and multiple awards. The Lovett School Softball Team’s overall record was 27-5, 10-0 Region, and finished AA Championships 2ndRunner Up. The team was awarded with the following Georgia 6AA awards: Region Coach of the Year, Region 1stTeam (6players), Region 2nd Team (2players), Pitcher of the Year, Defensive Player of The Year, Offensive Player of The Year, Freshmen of The Year, and Best Hitter of the Year. In addition, players and coaches earned AA Georgia Dugout Club Player of the Year, AA Georgia Dugout Club Coach of the Year and 2nd Team Georgia Coaches Association.
Lini also serves the community by donating her time and efforts into multiple youth softball clinics in Southern California including events hosted and ran by AIGA Foundation and the Coach Lini Softball Clinic. She has assisted many young ladies by instruction and mentorship resulting in opportunities to attend college and play at Utah State, Manhattanville College, Fullerton University, Georgia Tech, the University of Washington, Loyola Marymount , Manhattanville College, UC San Diego, California Baptist University, Mason College, and Lehigh University.
